SeaWorld® Orlando Rides

Kracken - Watch the video

“Kraken” a massive, mythological underwater beast, kept caged by Poseidon, is unleashed from the depths of the sea to shatter all records as the newest, highest, fastest, longest – and only floorless – roller coaster in Orlando.

SeaWorld Orlando’s first-ever roller coaster is the first of its kind in the Southeast. Best described as a “floorless” coaster, Kraken’s seats are open-sided and ride on a pedestal, high above the track at speeds of 65 mph. Riders’ feet dangle and no coaster car surrounds them.

Journey to Atlantis at SeaWorld Orlando

The Journey to Atlantis water coaster though tame compared to Kraken, still has plenty of thrills and surprises with it's high speed turns and bends culminating into a 60 foot watery drop.

This edge-of-your-seat water-coaster is part water ride, part roller coaster. Riders encounter the Sirens, Atlantis’ mythical spirits who fight to keep the city their own causing spine-tingling thrills, including two of the steepest, wettest, fastest drops to be found at any theme park in the world.

Wild Arctic at SeaWorld Orlando.

The Wild Arctic is not a roller coaster like Kraken or Atlantis, instead it is a motion-based ride, where you sit in a room with about 50 others to experience a simulated "jet helicopter" ride through the frozen wonderland of the Arctic. You can opt for the non-simulated movie version if you choose.

After the ride or movie, you walk through the Arctic camp to observe Beluga whales, walruses and the ever popular polar bears, Klondike and Snow. As you exit into the gift shop, be sure to visit the observation deck to the right. Here you can view the ride in full motion. (Something that you may want to see before taking the "flight".) There is a 42" height restriction for this ride.
